The First United Methodist Church of Humble is blessed to have a large number of mature adults ages 50 and over. They are a very active group and you will find some of them at the church every day helping in many ways. They volunteer to answer phones; count money; fold bulletins and newsletters; complete tasks in the church office; perform maintenance on the church buildings and grounds; usher; and prepare Communion. Some sing in the choir and take part in the pageants. Others teach, plan trips and coordinate groups. FUMC also has a number of groups and activities available to our senior adults most of which includes three of their favorite things- fun, food, and fellowship.
