Merry Widows

The Merry Widows started on July 25, 1997 with five recent widows from the First United Methodist Church ofHumble, Texas.  This group quickly grew from five to fifty-five women.  They come from other towns and communities near Humble as well as different religions.  This is not a grief support group but more about friendship and moving forward.  Meetings are the first Friday of every month at 11:30 a.m. in a private room at at the Golden Corral in Humble.   New members are welcome. Those in the group who enjoy games also meet at Golden Corral at 11:30 a.m. on the second and third Fridays each month  except December to play Chickenfoot.
