Outreach Ministries at First United Methodist in Humble:

Saturday's Kids
Saturday's Kids is a program to help feed children in our area that don't get enough to eat over the weekends and during school vacations. FUMC-Humble is one of 4 different churches that assist with this program in addition to some commercial businesses and a few individual families. On Saturday mornings, a bag of groceries, instead of pre-made meals, are delivered to the family or families that have signed up. Everyone is welcome to help and can jump in to participate anytime. FUMC is currently serving over 100 children...even more children are waiting for food.

Angel Tree
When a parent is in prison, Christmas doesn't always mean gifts and celebrations for the kids in that family. For many years, FUMC-Humble has reached out to children of prisoners, who face the holidays without the presence of a parent. Join the crew as they collect wish lists and gifts so that no child's Christmas season is left empty.

 United Methodist Men
The UMM meet every second Saturday of each month at 8:0 am in the Fellowship Hall in our Education Building.  Join the men of our church for breakfast every month as they discuss and plan their outreach mission projects during the year.  All men aged 16 and up are invited to join.  Our youngest members have some of the freshest ideas!

United Methodist Women
The UMW provide opportunity for spiritual growth through biblical studies, inspirational programs, and Christian fellowship with women of all ages. They gather the second Monday of every month for fellowship at 6:30 pm and for a meeting at 7:00 pm. In additon, UMW will host an online focus group for women who enjoy forming supportive friendships; participating in mission projects; studying the Bible together; and praying for our missionaries and church. This circle of friends is open to women of all ages and is not limited to members of our church.
