Senior Fun Day

The Senior Adult Fun Day, an annual event at FUMC since 2001, is a time for all the mature adults of our church to spend an enjoyable day of fellowship together. It is held on the last Saturday of January in the Fellowship Hall and starts promptly at 11:30 a.m. We begin with entertainment by the official band of TNT, The Campfire Singers, made up of our wonderful Boy Scout leaders. A catered barbecue lunch is served at 1:00 p.m. along with many delicious desserts made by a number of the ladies in attendance. After lunch, many stay and play games such as Chickenfoot, 42 and Bridge. Some bring Scrabble or other favorite games. You must be signed up and paid by the Sunday before the party. The money pays for the meal and a donation to our own Boy Scout Troop 9.
