At dusk on January 12, the Republic of Haiti suffered a magnitude 7.0 earthquake centered 10 miles southwest of Port-au-Prince killing thousands.   The capital is in shambles leaving many people homeless without food, drinking water and basic necessities.

Assembling health kits is easy.  Click HERE to get instructions from the UMC website.  We'll deliver these kits for you if you drop them off at First United Methodist in Humble, TX (800 E Main St).  Make sure you include $2 per kit ($1 for toothpaste & $1 to get it to Haiti).  In lieu of the $1 for toothpaste you may:  include 1 large tube of toothpaste (4.5 oz or larger with an expiration date no less that 6 month from purchase date.)

All proceeds benefit the Children's Weekday Ministries and will be used for program enhancements. Unsold items can be returned to you or donated to local charities. Volunteers who donate at least 2 hours to help (organize, price, etc.) will be entitled to shop a private pre-sale the evening before the event.
